How Trenchless Plumbing Works
Trenchless plumbing services are a non-invasive sewer repair option where damaged piping is repaired or replaced without excavation. Instead, we fix the pipe internally using techniques such as pipe lining or pipe bursting. How does the process work? We start a trenchless plumbing repair with a camera inspection to identify the underground problem and assess the damage. Our plumbers will need access through a clean-out and the main line access to perform the work.
Why are trenchless plumbing services a good option for homes?
- Addresses root intrusion and corrosion of older pipes
- Restores localized pipe damage
- Protects the integrity of your lawn and landscaping
Pipes that are completely collapsed or have an incorrect or misaligned slope are not usually candidates for trenchless repair. Our plumbers can provide professional answers after a camera inspection. Trenchless Plumbing Repair Options
There are two basic approaches to trenchless plumbing repair: pipe lining and pipe bursting. With pipe lining, a new, smaller pipe is created inside the existing line to restore integrity. This can seal cracks and water flow.
Pipe bursting is used to replace a severely damaged line or restore pipe diameter for pipes that may have a previous lining. This method involves breaking up the current pipe and threading a new one in behind it, gradually removing the debris as the bursting head moves forward.
